This blog is about life. It’s about mistakes and triumphs, tears and laughter. It’s about seeing past the mistakes to the lesson. It’s about grace and redemption. It’s about finding the brush strokes of the master painter in our lives.
Way too often, we find ourselves in a state of frustration and desperation because we haven’t hit perfection the way we expect ourselves to. We expect something of ourselves that God never has. We weren’t sent a Savior because we were perfect, we were sent a Savior because we are imperfect but HE was perfect.
There is nothing wrong with striving to be better, but we have to stop holding ourselves in condemnation when we don’t hit level perfection. There will always be something to improve on, something to learn, something to get better at because God’s not done with us yet.
