3 Months…Wowza…

Okay, so I know that I haven’t blogged in two weeks, BUT, I am pregnant and can do what I want.  That being said, I don’t want to feel sick anymore.  Do you think it’s that easy?  That if I just say the words out loud it will stop?  Yeah, me either.  I did get a prescription for Zofran (a non-refillable one; the doctor apparently had something against me), and that has helped.  I try to take it only on the days that I work so that I can make it last longer, but lately I have had to take it every day just to make it through.  When is the fun part of pregnancy?  I am only half kidding.  Being pregnant is one of the greatest things in the world because I get to take part in growing a wee one and letting it into the world – EXCITING.  I just wish the side effects would stop.  I want to be one of those women that says, “I loved being pregnant!”  Any who, enough with that and on with the survey – I have to work soon.

How Far Along? 12 weeks and 2 days.

Total weight gain
: Since I got pregnant, I have lost 11 pounds, and then gained two back: a total weight loss of 9 pounds! 🙂

Cravings: OLD DUTCH DILL PICKLE POTATO CHIPS

Maternity clothes? Not yet, but my stomach is definitely a-growin’.  I’m pretty sure that I’ll have to make a trip to Appleton soon.  Why, you ask?  Because along with this town not selling any Old Dutch Dill Pickle potato chips, they also don’t sell maternity clothes.  Why do I live here again??

Sleep: I am in bed for a really long time, but it’s getting harder to sleep.  I’m very uncomfortable and constantly moving from side to side.

Best moment this week: Hearing the heartbeat on Thursday.  It was so amazing!

Movement: Yes, but only in terms of gas.  I know, I know: ew.

Labor Signs: Nope, nope, nope.

Belly Button in or out? Still definitely in.

What I miss: Bras that fit and jeans.

What I am looking forward to: Feeling our little baby move – I can NOT WAIT for that!!

Weekly Wisdom:  If you feel nauseous all the time, do not be afraid to ask your doctor for safe, medicinal help, like zofran.  It doesn’t work on everyone, but it’s worth a shot if nothing else works.

Milestones:  That beautiful little heartbeat!

Enclosed is the weekly picture.
